About Me
I have been interested in health care since I was quite young. Being a caring and creative person, I achieved my desire to become a medical profesional. My education is very important to me because I am an immigrant from South Vietnam. I would like to start a new life in America and have an education in the United States that gives me a second chance to find a job and be productive.
In my practice, I focus on alternative and preventive healthcare. My strategy is to improve a patient's quality of life. As every person is different, I approach each patient sincerely and carefully, taking into account his/her unique situation and illness, and set up an individualized plan customized to the personality in order to most effectively improve his/her life quality.
According to Chinese Medicine, acupuncture is completely natural. I wish to serve my patients with the best of my talent. My best service to people will give me extreme satisfaction: My love for people and my love for helping people! Thanks.

It was very nice to see Dao last week, and her facial massage felt so good, I am still glowing from that treatment. Thank you.

My name is Michele Ford and I am nearly on my 290th acupuncture treatment at PIHMA college. I have been treated by a great number of students over the years. Last year I was fortunate enough to be treated by Bosun Kim. After some months with him a new student started joining us as an observer/student. Her name is Dao Huynh. She watched, asked many questions and paid close attention. One of her most impressive traits is that she is quite possibly the most respectful person I have ever met. When Bosun moved on and I needed a new student, Dao was not yet available so I tried some other students. They were fine but I missed her character. Now I am lucky enough to be treated by Dao on a regular basis. She is a great listener and I always feel as though I'm in good hands. Her needling has been very helpful to my health. Dao is genuine and a very smart woman. I would recommend her to anyone. I will miss her at PIHMA when she graduates spring, 2015.
Sincerely,
Michele Ford

I am writing to let you know how much I have benefitted from having Dao Huynh as my practitioner these last few months. We begin each weekly acupuncture visit with Dao listening carefully to my concerns and asking questions to evaluate my needs. She looks at my tongue, takes my blood pressure, and assesses the pulse in my writsts. From this evaluation, Dao creates my "treatment plan". After confirming the plan with her supervisor, Dao begins the treatment - inserting the needles, questioning my comfort along the way, and gently manipulating the needles if needed. She is intuitive, professional and gentle. She makes certain I am warm and leaves the room for me to "cook" fro 20 mintes or so. I am in a relaxed state and usually sleep for the 20 minutes. Dao returns to the room and skillfully removes the needles, carefully counting as she goes. I am left feeling refreshed and energized!
Dao clearly enjoys acupuncture and working with patients; she is attentive to individual concerns and unique needs. I am grateful for her expertise and professional advice on overall good health and my well-being. She has included cupping in recent treatments and frequently applies oils to support the "treatmnet plan" for my visits. Dao has a warm, professional rapport and a joyful sense of self and humor. I know her to give her very best and am grateful for her passion for what she does!
Sincerely,

I am privileged to write in support of my friend and recent graduate of PIHMA (Phoenix Institue of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture), Dao Huynh. Dao worked on my acupuncture clinic shifts for close to three years, during which time I witnessed her growth and develpment. This development came not only in the area of acupuncture techniques and patient skills, but in confidence and character as well.
I watched her progress through semesters doing wonderful work with confidence and sweetness towards her patients. Se was truly caring and empathetic with them, as well as being an effective practitioner. She was always eager to learn, and despite her knowledge always humbled herself to learn from her fellow students to increase her education. She loves Chinese Medicine, and is excited to take her skills out into the world and be of service to people.
Sincerely,
